BeOS & Derivatives Donn Cave has updated his port of Python to BeOS, as well as the Bethon BeOS API interface library. This brings BeOS up to date with other platforms with regards to Python, and merges some independent patchsets into Bethon. Both are for R5.03, meaning that pretty much any BeOS system out there can use them.

That's really nice to hear. I was a BeOS user back in the day, and Zeta along with Haiku nearly lured me back. As much as I don't think that's going to happen for a very long while, it's still nice to watch things improve there one step at a time.

I used to use BeOS, too. I'm considering switching back to BeOS, again. There's one little problem: it doesn't detect PCI & CDROM on my laptop ;)
