KDE "The latest in the 4.x series of the KDE Software Compilation is due to be released in early August 2010. With the first beta of this release recently unleashed, I thought I'd download the openSuse packages and see what 4.5 has got in store for us."

I've been using a bit everything, like many. However I kinda like the comfort of gnome & kde, full featured desktops.

Still, I always find myself in a situation where i'm coding stuff and i just wanna go back to fluxbox, or whatever your light manager of choice is.

Main reason is tiling. You want to see your browser and 2 or 3 terminals for example, at the same time. Not on a virtual desktop where its hidden. Not shaded etc. Just see it all.

You've to spend quite some time organizing the windows then, and on a laptop and with a trackpad it gets annoying over time. With automatic tiling, you don't need to.Most lightweight window manager do that too. And it's in KDE 4.5 ;)
