Google This could very well be another attempt by Google to establish itself as a successful social network under the title 'Google Me' after Orkut and Google Buzz. The seed to this rumor was originally a Tweet by Kevin Rose, Founder of Digg.

For some reason I'm happy about this. I think it's because Google already know everything there is to know about me from my searches. Facebook are in this business to sell my personal information. Google are in this business to get me online as much as possible to view their ads. To me this is a huge difference and makes me far more comfortable to give Google my data over Facebook.

Totally agree with that. Also that business you talk about, took facebook to take risk that is paying now. Most people are leaving fabook, because of security and others are waiting another social network that convince them more also to migrate.
