I was simply explaining where the failure of communication came in. I didn't, at any time, state that how I read your text was how everyone read your text. I thought we where done with this but if finding common ground and moving on is not acceptable, all I can suggest now is this; Rent a sense of humor for a day. See if you like it enough to get one of your own.
Heck, if it makes you feel better. Make a stereotypical joke about Canadian and I'll pretend to be offended and not see the humor in it.
I really can't put any more time into a one line joke that has been blown this far out of proportion.
