Apple A whole lot of Apple news of course, but we've never really done music players or streaming devices, so let's skip the barrage of new iPods and the new Apple TV (streaming-only? Fail). The real meat is of course iOS 4.1 and 4.2, both of which were detailed during today's press event.

New Apple TV bad for music

I hated the new Apple TV. Streaming is simply not a good option for music, when you just want to sit down and relax, instead of going to other rooms to turn ON your PC/Mac to stream from its iTunes. I won't talk about it more here, whoever cares, can read the full explanation on my blog:

I hate that everything is so tied to iTunes. Why can’t I store stuff on my Time Capsule and the Apple TV stream from that?? (It would be plugged directly into it by Ethernet as that’s where the TV / Internet is located).
