How about if you press "any key" then the boot is delay by several seconds to show the start-up menu options.

But just "Where is the any key?" (Homer)

Or maybe just have one key to get into the setup-screen, the same one for all manufactures ?

Why not "any key" then we would not have to remember which was the one key that you needed to press. It is not that anybody should be pressing the keyboard at start-up anyway. And if someone did accidentally press a key at start up it would then just take slightly longer longer to boot while the special start up menu keys were displayed.
