PDAs, Cellphones, Wireless "Samsung Electronics has announced the bada 2.0 smartphone platform with support for near field communication (NFC), HTML5, the Wholesale Applications Community, multitasking and voice recognition. According to Samsung, bada 2.0 also comes with a new and improved software development kit (SDK) that opens up the platform to more developers working across different PC operating systems."

Htc is not developing their own operating system beside android and WP7. Also they don't produce dumbphones, nor are the 2nd largest phone manufacturer after Nokia.

But I imagine they have plenty of advantages being in taiwan (manufacturing deals etc).

What else is there to say?

HTC makes dumbphones... they have phones running the brew MP feature phone platform with a sense-esque skin
