FreeBSD The FreeBSD Release Engineering Team is pleased to announce the availability of FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE. This is the third release from the 8-STABLE branch which improves on the functionality of FreeBSD 8.1 and introduces some new features. There are patches available for testing that enable ZFSv28 in 8-STABLE, as well as in 9-CURRENT.

The goal, hope, and dream is to have ZFSv28 ready for 8.3-RELEASE and 9.0-RELEASE.
