Well, considering it got voted up several times, apparently most readers didn't think it was stupid. So maybe that says more about your level of stupidity if you thought it was stupid? Or perhaps it says something about your lack of knowledge of Java, or your lack of knowledge of how real world applications typically behave?

Well, he did. By calling you a "comedic god" he implied that your comment was pure comedy. Hence he adds value by directing unsuspecting readers of your original comment to the fact that it is COMPLETELY STUPID and could perhaps be interpreted as comedy and not informed discourse.
