This release marks the completion of the development cycle for the modular source tree. We have tagged both the monolithic and modular trees and have prepared tarballs for you to test. I have no problems whatsoever using the latest ATI xorg propietary drivers.
Only thing is that I can't enable composite with DRI enabled and i hate that!
Hope this release will change that although I doubt if EXA in this release will work with my Moblitiy X700 PCI-Express card.
Yesterday I compiled this new x.org release, but it took so many time that I couldn't testdrive it.
When I woke up this morning and looked @ my Slack 10.2 screen I saw the compile of X was succesfull, so tonight I will give it a try
