I think that is not needed. If you can confirm in the bug report that it is a issue that occurs in the current driver, you will be added to the cc list automatically and can confirm the problem or resolution when the driver gets an update. In particular, I recommend booting into command line and get this latest update

Nope does not fix a bit. The xorg.conf has "vesa" and when I set "nouveau" it does not work. though glxinfo|grep render is showing yes.
going back to arch... where nouveau, and gnome-shell just work.
