KDE "At the beginning of this year, the Plasma team was itching to extend Plasma's coverage of the device spectrum. We already had Desktop and Netbook interfaces, and while maintaining and incrementally improving those, we wanted to show case the possibilities of Plasma by creating a full fledged touch interface for devices."

Its pretty awesome that the KDE krew were able to put together such a polished touch first interface with some really neat features. I

The Blog mentions the ExoPC tablet as bieng a good target device thats inexpensive in Europe. Here in North America they want US $ 649 for the 64 GB wifi only Windows 7 model. That's way too much.

Am I looking at the right tablet Aaron was talking about? He also mentions something called the wetab. Any info on where those can be purchased?

Found this other review of Plasma active while looking for a wetab:

Looks like it was a meego tablet? Can't really find any for sale.

Well, the appeal of a wetab was supposed to be the availability and the cost. From their website, it seems as if they never found a US based distributor.

Which means they were never here, and thus it will never be cheap to get one here.
