Apple On its website, Apple has just confirmed that its co-founder and former CEO, Steve Jobs, has passed away at age 56. After bringing the company back from the brink of bankruptcy and turning it into one of the world's most succesful technology companies, Jobs lost the battle with pancreatic cancer.

Except, your attitude pretty much proves the point. You don't have to like Jobs, but your lack of respect is pretty pathetic.

Let me repeat that at no point in this thread have I commented on Jobs. What I think of him isn't important to the discussion. I could write a pretty glowing eulogy for him in all honesty, and I think that is indeed a place where no ill should be spoken.

I am making a statement against the deletion of comments which are truthful or honest, but negative. They ought not to be deleted. I am not supporting vitriolic or nasty comments regarding Jobs in general and I won't disagree with the deletion of such comments from this article, though I doubt the necessity.

I suggest you look inward if you read anything else in to what I have said in this thread. I also suggest that your standard for proof is tragically low.
