Any plans to use Qt4 as backend instead of Qt3? (similarly to what Clementine guys did with Amarok code base).
I don't think the Clementine guys simply swamped toolkits, nor is doing that trivial when there is no backward compatibility between QT4 and QT3. If you read the project page, the devs state that the Clementine Project is inspired by Amarok, not a fork of it. There was a fork of Amarok 1.4.10, Pana, that used qt3 but development ceased this past August. Edited 2011-11-02 20:57 UTC
I never asserted that porting it could be a trivial task, but as far as I knew, Clementine was a port of AmaroK 1.4.* to Qt4. Yes, its homepage says "inspired".
