In the News "Although the Transformer Prime is not a professional GPS device, as part of our unwavering commitment to customers we are offering all Transformer Prime owners a free external GPS extension kit, called a dongle, which may help improve signal reception and optimize the user experience. We are pleased to announce this offer as part of our commitment to customer service, but it does not replace, alter or amend any existing warranties you may have." Wait, wait, wait - this wasn't a joke? This is for real? Wait, what?

...that's a massive stinking pile....
surely a product recall, or an 'optional' hardware fix (at Asus' full expense), or a ??oooh i dunno $100 rebate that order, we the 'right' responses to a non functional GPS 'capability'.

Yeah, and they still haven't fixed the weak wifi on this tablet either. It's really too bad they shipped it defective, because this is the one Android tablet I could've recommended to people - thin like the iPad 2, optional keyboard, light on the bloatware, very quick with updates, quad core CPU w/Tegra 3, etc.

Well, at least the Transformer Infinity will be out in a few months ;)
