From what little I read of Thom's it's more apparent that rabid anti-Thom fanatics conveniently ignores all the things he writes more than Thom ignores facts.

I guess I'm wrong about Thom.
He preaches the evils of lobbying, yet when there's an article showing Google spending way more than anyone of else he's suddenly silent on the matter.
He preaches the evils of software patents yet when Motorola abuses FRAND patents time and time again (hint they're owned by Google) he's also silent on it. And when he decides to pick up the topic, see Xbox case, the focus is surprisingly on H264 and not the actual issue at hand: Google, sorry I meant Motorola, abusing FRAND patents to hurt a competitor. "
Silent? You mean all the explanations he gives in comments (at least those I've come across)? I can't believe the level of obsessionou have against people you hate irrationally. Just let it go.

What, you mean like this?

Yup. Totally silent about it. Yep. Really.
This is what we call confirmation bias, bowkota. You simply ignore articles that don't fit into your world view of "Thom = anti-Apple/pro-Google", so it leads to rather embarrassing situations where you submit something negative about Google which I then delete because it;s already been posted, and then you go on assuming I deleted it because I'm pro-Google.
I hope this serves as an eye opener.

I guess I missed that, my mistake, sorry about that.
Although I'm starting to have doubts myself.....people in here are actually advocating lobbying.
