Windows For weeks - if not months - I've been trying to come up with a way to succinctly and accurately explain why, exactly, Windows 8 rubs me the wrong way, usability-wise. I think I finally got it.

Adam_S,

"I realize you don't want to continue the conversation, but I'm not sure why you'd post that I failed at anything. I simply reported some facts."

Oh please, I never said that and you know it. How many times must I apologize for making a wrong assumption? Please stop criticizing me for it!

Are you a native English speaker?

This is literally two comments up:

you have to admit you failed to correct the context in which it was easy to assume you were talking only about desktop licensing costs by themselves

All I was doing is saying that an EA covers everything and that you can't just divide the total cost by users to determine the cost per user. That's it. I don't know what the rest of this thread is for.

Adam_S,

"you have to admit you failed to correct the context in which it was easy to assume you were talking only about desktop licensing costs by themselves"

Oh geez, major miscommunication. Haha, I interpreted your sentence as a accusation that I was calling you a figurative failure for paying the prices you are paying. It's still my opinion that your initial post lacked explicitness, but I'd better cut my losses on this one ;)
