Yeah, cause the first thing I read in a GPL licensed software is "THIS SOFTWARE COMES WITHOUT GUARANTEE", <sarcasm>Encouraging, right? </sarcasm>

actually pretty much every piece of software has that clause attached to it. Its have nothing to do with open source or the GPL.
