Privacy, Security, Encryption "Mr. Obama decided to accelerate the attacks - begun in the Bush administration and code-named Olympic Games - even after an element of the program accidentally became public in the summer of 2010 because of a programming error that allowed it to escape Iran's Natanz plant and sent it around the world on the Internet. Computer security experts who began studying the worm, which had been developed by the United States and Israel, gave it a name: Stuxnet." And we're letting these people have unmanned drones. Seems legit.

Arab land is Arabia. Everything else was conquered in the 8th and 9th centuries. Ask the kabyls and berbers in north Africa, for example.
The british mandate in palestine was divided up: about a third for israel, 2 thirds into jordan.
There has been a palestinian uprising in jordan, leading to black september with thousand killed.
But never mind, selective indignation is rampant in europe.

Every land is conquered at one point or another. Go back far enough and no people owns any land, unless you want to believe in the lunacy of the Old Testament (which Ultraorthodox Jews do believe and create illegal settlements).

Do you suggest we go back in history and just redivide the world according to who used to live where thousands of years ago? Because if you do, then you also must accept that Israel was initially created by conquering. In fact, if you believe Israelites originally owns the land, then you are making the implicit statement that you think genocide, mass murder and rape of women and children are a legitimate way of founding a nation, because the only claim the Israelites have over Palestine is that Moses told them YHWH gave them the right to genocide, murder and rape in their conquering of Canaan that was "prommised" to them.

By arguing so, you basically take AWAY the argument that the Jews, being Israelites, deserve any compensation because genocide, murder and rape were legitimate tools of war when they took over Canaan and thus the same thing should be allowed when it comes back to bite them in the arse.

Congratulations in excusing the Nazi's actions.

So you can claim, in the very same commment, that Arabs aren't entitled to Palestine because they conquered it, and yet, the words "British mandate" is acceptable to you despite it meaning that conquering was involved.

It's pretty clear you're the one with selective indignation, and that you believe hypocrisy doesn't apply to you.

You are ascribing me thoughts I don't harbor.
It's obvious, as you go back in time, populations have constantly replaced one another on the same patch of land. French do not seek compensation from rome on the grounds of occupation of gaul.
On the other hand, your your choice of wording is revealing: as far as genocides go, you are referring to one where the "murdered, raped" population actually grows by over 300%.
Agreed, it still doesn't make it right.

Selective indignation is when people are more riled up by a targeted computer virus, than, say, beheadings of schoolchildren in sulawesi or treatment of homosexuals in egypt.
