Google So yeah, Google totally just won the conference showdown by easily beating both Apple and Microsoft. Not only did Google announce Android 4.1 with some really cool new features, a cheap but non-crippled tablet, and a new Android device called the Nexus Q, but they also opened up pre-orders for Google Glass. So yeah.

And I will agree on all points. Though I think Google is making active steps in showing that they want to release it. But Surface looks like a device that is more realistic in short term.

Thank you for not resorting to swearwords.

Again, I have no problem with Project Glass. In fact, I think it's cool. I sincerely hope they can deliver on their original vision, but if they can't that's fine too.

My issue has always been with how this opinion piece was worded. I think its unfair to say Android blew everyone else out of the water.

The tablet is great, the Project Butter stuff at the very least shows they're taking it serious, the point upgrade had thoughtful improvements.

Its unfortunate that this thread was tainted from the start because of a loaded opinion piece.
