PDAs, Cellphones, Wireless Where can I order? "Nokia's new flagship Windows Phone 8 device has been leaked today, revealed as the Lumia 920. Posted to Twitter by Evleaks, the Lumia 920 appears to include a PureView camera that the company has been hinting at in recent weeks. Codenamed the Phi, Nokia's Lumia 920 is said to include a 4.5-inch display and will likely be available in a number of colors judging by the leaked image." Yes miss, the red one please. No, no need to wrap it, don't need bag - I'll have ripped open the box before I go through the door.

Rumor also has it its a 21mp sensor, not 42, which could explain the lack of bulk.

Lumia is still a bit more chunky than e.g. Galaxies but still having the optics shrinked 2 times means order of magnitude worse result, so while it might be still better, it's nowhere near PureView magic. I hope the won't tarnish that brand trying to easily exploit it for newer handset promotion. PureView is the only unique Nokia technology left.

Ive never used an 808, but down sampling a 21mp image is probably still amazing looking comparatively.

Its all speculation though, and I never saw the issue with a bulky sensor.

The bulk of course got nothing to do with the number of pixels but rather the size of the sensor, optics and cooling.

There is no active cooling on ARM-based mobile devices.
