General Development I like this one: "By definition, a program is an entity that is run by the computer. It talks directly to the CPU and the OS. Code that does not talk directly to the CPU and the OS, but is instead run by some other program that does talk directly to the CPU and the OS, is not a program; it's a script." And is not the same, do..while(repeat) will execute the cycle at least once, the while cycle may not get to be executed at all, obviously the guy making such statement is clueless.

That's a common mistake? If that's the kind of people he works with I'm afraid of what kind of software they would create.

To be honest, I thought that was the whole point of the Stack Overflow thread and the reason for the Bill The Lizard follow up too.

Nobody said those opinions had to be valid; only that they had to be controversial.
