This video seems to show BB10 with static, screenshot-like app previews on the switching interface, while I seem to recall MeeGo has live previews. I hope the final version will feature the latter.
To be honest I preferred WebOS's cards.
In fact I really do wish WebOS took off more - I'd love to have one of the current generations of smart phones with WebOS and the same kind of app catalogue as seen on Android or iOS.
I know it's wishful thinking, but maybe one day Open WebOS will be a viable option for rooted Android handsets. Or even dual booting Cyanogenmod and Open WebOS. One can only dream....
The TabletOS... Playbook OS the precursers to BB10 has a lot of the same effects of webOS. A difference, that I like now, is that for applicaiton menues, swipe down from the app, and you can swipe down from the right corner for the sysmenu or swipe down from the left for notifications.
Ahh, yes notifications. I miss those and how they worked in WebOS phones. With the Playbook, it may be ok to dedicate an area for them, but it worked really nicely to have the bottom popups from WebOS.
