PDAs, Cellphones, Wireless "A date and place has been set to reveal the new Jolla smartphone user interface and deliver the Jolla developer story and SDK. Jolla will demonstrate the Jolla user interface, based on the recently announced Sailfish alliance OS, at the Slush event in Helsinki, Finland on 21-22 November. Jolla is very excited to be able to share the user interface, and talk about the Jolla SDK and application ecosystem with the developers. They should give more credit to Mer project in their press releases. They mention Meego all around for PR purposes, while really they don't use the Meego project, they use Mer.

Indeed they should, but no one apart from few enthusiasts even know what Mer is. People like MeeGo so it's only smart to use it in PR. I don't think Mer developers mind that they are not advertised in every turn as long as their contribution is acknowledged and it always has been.
