The real shame is that Acorn didn't hang in there, could have been one of the biggest international companies by now. Their processor legacy is pretty much in every device I own that is not a desktop or laptop.
And possibly in some/most/all(?) of your desktops or laptops - things like HDD or optical drive controllers could also use ARM SoC I suppose; similarly monitors, or even some more fancy mouses and keyboards.
