Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu After desktops and phones, Ubuntu is now bringing its Linux distribution to tablets. Coming Thursday, preview images for Google's Nexus tablets will be released, so we can all get a good long look at what Canonical is cooking up. They've published a YouTube video which details all that Ubuntu has to offer for tablets, and to be honest, it's looking quite good.

That's not the case now. Potentially that's where Canonical is heading. My whole point was - they started heading there only now. And they want to produce an OS already now as well. Sounds too raw to me, until they iron out their architecture.

I think this is unfair given that neither of them are out yet, and your own pet platform, Plasma Active has more than its fair share of show stopping deficiencies.

If by the time Ubuntu's Phone and Tablet OS drop this isn't true, then you'll have a fair criticism.
