PDAs, Cellphones, Wireless "Japanese telecom operator Willcom has unveiled the 'Phone Strap 2 WX06A' which is the world's smallest and lightest phone. The phone measures 32x70x10.7 mm and weighs a mere 32 grams, to put it in perspective the iPhone 5 measures 123.8x58.6x7.6 mm and weighs 112 grams which is almost 4 times heavier than the Phone Strap 2." Why does Japan always get all the cool stuff. I'd love me one of these. Kawaii ne?

Willcom 123.8x58.6x7.6 mm

Modo 72.1 x 37.6 x 7.8 mm

The Modo is 40% smaller than the Willcom - yet you still claim it is is bigger!

No, those were the dimensions of the iPhone.

The Phone Strap 2 is slightly smaller than the Modo, albeit a little bit thicker.

Modu Phone is 72.1 x 37.6 x 7.8 mm = 21145,488 mm^3
the Phone Strap 2 is 32 x 70 x 10.7 mm = 23968 mm^3

front plate area

Modu Phone is 72.1 x 37.6 mm = 2710,96 mm^2
the Phone Strap 2 is 32 x 70 mm = 2240mm^2

so it depends wether you choose front plate area or volume as size.
