Well, mister ubuntu, a lot of people who might be unfriendly towards what ubuntu does might be so not because you are saying that elitism and hardness for exclusivity's sake is dumb, but because dumbing down a distro to the level that it's a pain to use for people who need more than clicking on stuff.
For a while now the only people who I recommend ubuntu for are real noobies and totally linux-clueless ones. It's OK, I don't mind, they don't mind and the puppies are well fed, but mister ubuntu do not ever come out and try to imply this is _the_ way to do a linux distro or a linux ui.
Now, those are the real dumbs who think everyone else is dumb. Chew on that.
