Yes. Google wants itself at the forefront of the thing, not necessarily Android.

Sorry, these random articles and data you throw in doesn't really contribute to this discussion. In fact, none of your comments in this thread makes sense. You are just throwing in different ideas hoping one of them will stick.

Google loves Android and will continue develop and support it. Anyone claiming anything else is stupid or on some heavy drugs.
