Apple At the D11 conference, Apple CEO Tim Cook once again took the stage to be interviewed by Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher. While most of the interview can be replicated by picking and reading 10 random Apple fanblog stories - there were still a number of very interesting things that warrant some closer scrutiny.

You might be accused of spitting marketing BS

He said once "I write to defend Apple" ...a bit scary, how one can be taken by some company like that.

As opposed to others who happen to enjoy the products of Google, Microsoft, BlackBerry, Jolla, Amazon, etc

I think he's particularly disliked because he's effective at getting his point across in ways that are difficult to argue against.

Not many put their bias on a pedestal like that, it's more than enjoying... as he said himself, "he writes to defend Apple", come on.

And only recently effective (I'd say half a year or so), for a long time he was just coming across as a fanboy, but he learned what will get him downvoted and mostly doesn't write it any more.
