Linux I volunteer as tech support for a small organization. For years we relied on Ubuntu on our desktops, but the users didn't like it when Ubuntu switched to the Unity interface. This article tells about our search for a replacement and why we decided on Xfce running atop Linux Mint.

Yes all these very specific edge cases do happen but in the are quite rare.

Look software always is going to have bugs or points where it doesn't work ... the point is that it works in the majority of circumstances correctly.

I could point out where this and that isn't perfect on every OS. It pointless and doesn't really prove anything except you are being pedantic.
