Do you guys know those snap rulers / armbands you could slap around your wrist?

Like this:

I would really love to have a smartphone like this. With the proper display (scratch resistant and at least a bit waterproof) that would be really cool.

First, it would mean for me less stuff in my pocket
Also it would mean that you have actually a useful brandnamehere gear/smartwatch/whatever

I cant imagine any long durability from those but well, stuff is improving over time.

A smartphone you could put at your wrist or roll like papers is obviously the right direction. But until the technology can achieve it, I don't see how those curved smartphones are a step forward.

The square wheel was not the first step in the right direction while waiting for a round wheel ;)

Now, considering that Samsung and LG had to just show to the world how advanced they are in display technology (because I guess nobody think they actually have a use case for those curved smartphones), I think the LG approach is less-useless than the Samsung approach.
