First, the Unicies DO have something like App bundles. In fact, they have 2 independant implimentations: Rox AppDirs (based on RiscOS implimentation) and GNUStep AppBundles (pretty much the same as OSX Bundles because they are both taken from NextStep).

Second, Klik files are very much like AppBundles. The klik protocol, servers, recipies and whatnot are part of the klik distribution method. AFAIK .cmgs can be run without any of that.
