In todays world people simply expect things to work, with minimal needs to configure - preferring that nothing at all needs to be configured. This is not an unreasonable request for a desktop user after all the majority of them will have at some time experienced MS Windows and Mac OS/X, both of which do it quite well.
It's good to see they plan to work in this direction. They want to improve.
