OpenBSD

We are pleased to announce the official release of OpenBSD 6.1. This is our 42nd release. We remain proud of OpenBSD's record of more than twenty years with only two remote holes in the default install.

As in our previous releases, 6.1 provides significant improvements, including new features, in nearly all areas of the system.

This could be a replacement. Assuming it ever makes it to market.

Neat! That looks more like a reimagining of the Toshiba Libretto though. I'm more inclined towards a non-x86 device with a 3-4 inch screen and OpenBSD compatibility.

It looks like that project is over 1300% funded so I would be surprised if it doesn't go to market.

Looks like it is standard Intel graphics. I would be surprised if it didn't work with OpenBSD.

Interesting. That's almost something I would buy.

It only has two buttons on the trackpoint rather then three, and it's a 7" screen. Select and middle-click paste is something I would miss, and a 12" screen would be ideal.

A 60% style keyboard would be nice, but now I'm just getting ridiculous. ;)

Clicking both buttons at the same time is interpreted as a middle click since the early days of the 3-button mouse. You wouldn't be missing anything. ;)
