Mac OS X "Over the weekend I was checking the Apple site to find some useful widgets. I found some good ones, but in the process of browsing I came across some rather useless 'Gaming' widgets. Between all of the strange ones I installed, here are the ones that I find the most useless."

I completely turned off Dashboard. Not only does it prevent me from having the urge to waste time on a few widgets, but I know that I'm probably saving some system resources by doing so. :-D

And you have a greater chance of avoiding insanity. Happy there is no Yoda widget for Gnome, I am.

It's much too late in the game to avoid it.

I turned off Dashboard, too... a couple hours after I installed Konfabulator on my XP box at work. Konfabulator is now running on all the systems I use, I love it.

Still haven't thought of a good widget to make for it though (other than the City of Heroes server status widget that I haven't finished yet).
