IIRC at least in England this is not even called "marriage". But it isn't the word that matters anyway - it's additional rights that the people receive.
From this point on, I will be less proud of getting married knowing that there are other people out there with illegitimate relationships who can claim the same thing.
This is the stupidest thing I have heard lately. Is the goal of your marriage to be proud of it? And why should your feelings regarding your marriage be disturbed by other people that have no relationship whatsoever to you or your marriage?
And why do you care about men f-cking each other? It's not like you're forced to look anyway.
You should really grow up and learn to not care about some things.

How about this? I'm against gay marriage because when you apply the word "marriage" to what I consider to be a completely illegitimate relationship, then you lessen the meaning of the word itself.
It's like passing a law that would require all dogs to be referred to as "people". If I suddenly had to call both you and a dog a "person", then the word "person" loses some of its meaning, doesn't it? From this point on, I will be less proud of getting married knowing that there are other people out there with illegitimate relationships who can claim the same thing.
That, and two men f--king each other is disgusting no matter how you look at it.
