I used Moodle all this year in Uni. Even my final year project was done through moodle. It was great to have all correspondences with my project advisor, all resources and all my documentation in one portal. The Wiki part of Moodle was very annoying to use. There was no way (to my knowledge anyway) to turn off all the auto-formatting features.
