Computer history:
Before 2000: MS-DOS on a 286 PC with 40 MB hard disk, later upgraded to a 486 with 2.5 GB hard disk and SoundBlaster running DOS and later Win95/98SE.
2000 - 2006: Pentium-III 667 mHz running Win98SE, briefly ran WinMe before I switched to Win28k.
2001 - 2003: Macintosh Performa 5200CD with Mac OS 9, which I borrowed from a friend. I actually only used it to watch TV on and use Stickies. I gave it back.
2003 - 2005: Dell Inspiron 5000 (Pentium-1, 6 GB HD), barely ran Win2k. I've briefly run Zeta on it for a while, then the power plug no longer worked and I had to declare it dead.
2006 - current: AMD Sempron 3000+, briefly ran WinXP until I got sick of it in May 2003. Then I ditched Windows altogether and switched to Zeta, a BeOS derivate. This PC still runs Zeta. I use it mainly for doing design stuff on.
June 2009 - current: MacBook Pro with OS X and emulating Haiku.
