I don’t see the point really – it works fine without a PC at present. Why put one into the equation? It’s not going to do anything any better than at present. 2004-10-13 9:56 pm I work in the security Field. Microsoft Can’t compare with some of the stuff that is already on the market. HAI makes a Home automationsecurity Pannel that Blows every thing else on the market away. Imagine a 5 – 9″ Color LCD Screen by your front door like a security Keypad. but Not only is it a keypad to Arm and disarm. from the same keypad you can Change the Temp of your house, turn on or off any light, Controll A-bus or Net stream audio systems, or touch a single buttion to bring up a full screen window Of your Front door Camera. or 2 way split screen of your Family room camera and front door, Back door where ever you have a camera. and you can also RAS into the pannel from any computer with A Internet connection. When microsoft can do that. I will give them a little credit.
