A new issue of the Linux-Mobile-Guide is available. This guide covers laptop, notebook, PDA and mobile (cell) phone related Linux features, such as installation methods (via network interface, without CD/DVD drive, etc.), hardware features (PCMCIA, IrDA, BlueTooth, APM, ACPI, etc.) and configurations for different environments.
Anyone want to dumb it down for me?
Which of them has
– 3D graphics from Nvidia
– Suspend to RAM and disk that does not corrupt video when waking up
– A soundcard with hw mixer
– Built-in wireless not requiring ndiswrapper
…under 2.6.x?
Good list…though you won’t find the answer there.
Nvidia, for example, only appears in 2 places and none refer to a specific laptop.
I suggest reviewing the guide for a few minutes to get an idea what it is designed for.
