Coming from a UNIX background I just loved the ability to finally have a laptop platform that felt as if it was built from the ground up: from the nice hardware to the software that drives it. I’m a QT/C++ developer, and at this stage, I’ve only needed to use a combination of qmake tools alongside Vim. Although once I start to get a bit more serious with this platform I have no doubt Xcode will be the obvious choice.
