what about an openvms port for itanium?
Just a question (cause I am really not interested to try it out myself), does the console still get spammed with error messeses about destroyed objects still being monitored and such when you exit to the console?
I never cared enough to find out if such things are actually an issue, or if they are safely ignored, but it always raised an issue in my mind about the quality of GNOME in general. I’ve noticed it on every version of GNOME I have tried on a variety of OSes…
It’s because verbose is turned on in gnome(you can turn it off). By the way it happens with KDE as well.
My graphic card is under repair, and I am using an old one only allowing for 1024×768 on my 19” monitor. Which lead to an unpleasant surprise: GTK+ gadgets look “bulky”, it seems there is too much unused space around text; sure, I reduced font size immediately, and that helped, but they still look unwieldy to me.
Has anyone noticed this issue before? Or is it just a figment of my imagination?
