“Firefox 3 has been out for two weeks now and it’s time to hack it. The newest version of Mozilla’s browser has plenty of new features, including the site identification button, the Bookmarks Library and what has become known as the “Awesome Bar” — and [here’s] how to hack them all.”
Let me be the first to say that I love the about:robots easter egg. Any geek worth his or her stripes ought to be able to place all those references, and get a good chuckle out of them.
Using built in features is not “hacking”.
What’s more, most of these features existed in Firefox 2. Didn’t know the favicon was a shortcut to Page Info though, so not a complete waste of time.
Firefox is not an OS, but since this article was posted it is fair game. How about “hacking” CVE-2008-2785?
