I would recommend this, too – as long as the actual product’s name isn’t “Growl for Windows”, in this case appending the version number after the product name is completely correct. I’ve been waiting for new software for quite some time. I’ll have to try the software, though. At first, I thought that Growl would be incredibly stupid but it really is a pleasant notification system that doesn’t yell at you over and over that something has happened.
