Lycoris Desktop/LX Update 3, released last September, is a Linux distro aimed primarily at home user desktops. Lycoris has been widely heralded for its user-friendliness. If newbies can handle some manual configuration, they may be happy with it, but it won’t satisfy more experienced users, says Linux.com.
This was a good review… real high-level. It’s nice to know how the user experience is going to be with this distro. However, it doesn’t sound nearly as user friendly as LindowsOS. I didn’t experience any of the issues the reviewer mentioned while installing and running LindowsOS. With Lindows, everything just worked right out of the gate…. no problems at all.
looks like his spell checker must have cause a BSOD before he could finish his post
Lol!!!
Anyway, back on topic….
Does anyone know when Lycoris are looking to move to a more recent KDE version? Or are they sticking with their heavily patched 2.x version for now?
Hi

What became of Caldera? They were sucked up by our good friends, SCO! Bad things DO happen to good people – and companies.
Nah, SCO was sucked up by Caldera
