RedHat might have cleared one small hurdle with getting certified for Common Operating Environment, but they need to bring RedHat Enterprise Linux up to Common Criteria EAL 4 before I see wide scale deployments of Linux machines in stead of Solaris, AIX and HP-UX machines. SuSe Linux has a better chance since their Enterprise Server is evaluated at CC EAL 3+.
Someone around here is using it for free already. Our AIX machines have been so stable you’d really have an uphill battle to sell me on it. The people who actually purchase stuff don’t know squat so they might be impressed.

Red Hat actually is in bed with the devil.
