Red Hat Red Hat announced a new client product, Red Hat Global Desktop, at its annual Red Hat Summit tradeshow in San Diego. This move is designed, in part, to compete with Novell's SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 Desktop, which has achieved success in business desktop markets, and with Ubuntu 7.04, which will soon appear on Dell PCs. I'm glad that redhat is entering again in Desktop market.... with strong statement.... I hope its not too late... I have used redhat 5.x,6.x,7.x,8.x,9.x distros and fedoraas well but for me they started losing grip from market the day they seperated out redhat and free fedora product... i hope they have learn't the lesson that what is installed on sys admin guys desktop is going to get deployed on rest of the desktop and servers because he is more comfortable with his desktop!
