A lot of people have been emailing us about an issue we are having with one of our ads taking over OSNews. Thank you all for emailing us, the information provided is of good use to us. We are currently working on the problem, and will let you know once it has been fixed. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience. Update by DA: I think that I've tracked down the offender. Might be easier to ask the users!
I block adverts because:
1, I wouldn’t click them anyway.
2, It wastes my bandwidth.
3, It gives them details about how I use the net.
4, I don’t care about 3,
5, but I do about 2.
Is it right to block? I can’t answer that.
(I had an OSNews subscription for a year or two, so feel no guilt)
