Microsoft's Windows beat operating system rivals Mac OS X and Ubuntu in a three-month test of update server uptime, according to Pingdom, a Swedish uptime monitoring company.

Uptime measurement is pointless.
Having vast uptimes means one of two things.
1. You are an idiot that never updates.
2. You are running a cluster so you just migrate processes around and reboot servers as needed.
